Graduate students are housed in the Lettie Pate Whitehead Evans Graduate Complex, also known as Graduate Housing or "Gradplex." The Graduate Complex houses 239 graduate students and is open to William & Mary students enrolled full-time in one of the five graduate/professional programs: Arts & Sciences, Law, Education, Business Administration, or Virginia Institute of Marine Science. Space within the Gradplex is allocated proportionally among students from the different schools.
While the Gradplex does not house students with families, W&M's Ludwell Apartments are available on a very limited basis for students with spouses/children.
Graduate Housing Applications are available on the Residence Life website. Since graduate housing is not guaranteed, it is to the student's advantage to complete the housing application as soon as possible. If a housing assignment is made, a Housing Contract will be mailed to the student. The signed Housing Contract must be returned with a $200 room reservation deposit.
