You will need the following at check-in:
- A photo ID.
- Hall Council Dues varies from building to building but averages $25-$30 for programming in the hall. This is an optional fee used for both educational and social programming in the halls. It also is used for the purchase of vacuums, DVD players, TVs, and microwaves, as determined by the Hall Council.
- Clearance from the Health Center on the Health Form, including immunizations. If you have not heard from the Health Center, you can assume you are okay.
- A $75.00 Room Damage Deposit must be paid to the Cashier's Office by January 11th. This damage deposit is required of all resident students and is refunded within 60 days of termination of the Housing Contract, if and when the resident will not be residing in College residence during the subsequent semester and provided there are no damages to the premises and the student's college account is current. The damage deposit should be made payable to the "College of William and Mary" and sent to: Cashier's Office, P.O. Box 8795, Williamsburg, VA 23187-8795. Since this is a deposit, a charge will not show up on your semester bill.
- If you will be in the Williamsburg area at any time before January 11th, the ID Office (Campus Center 169) invites you to stop by and have your William and Mary ID made.
Individuals who need to arrive early may find it beneficial to make arrangements with the Williamsburg Hotel/Motel Association for accommodations (1-800-999-4485) or visit their web site at www.williamsburghotel.com. Sorry, but we will not be able to accommodate early arrivals!!
