Is housing guaranteed all four years?

Typically the demand for housing exceeds the supply and rising sophomores and juniors are subject to being temporarily excluded from the official Room Selection Process by being "Waitlisted". A student can only be waitlisted once so in realilty on-campus housing is guaranteed for three of the four (or five) years in which a student is enrolled and wants to live on campus.

Voluntarily living off campus without being involuntarily "waitlisted" does not constitute being waitlisted and does not mean the student would be protected from the waitlist if he or she decides to return to campus housing after living off campus.
