Official Transcripts

A fee of seven dollars (U.S. $7.00) is charged for each official transcript requested. Official transcripts must be requested in writing and the student's signature is required.

Request In-person

Payment may be made by check, or cash when making the request in person. Such payments should be made directly to the Cashier in the Bursar's Office.

Request On-Line

Transcripts can be ordered via the Web 24/7 through the National Student Clearinghouse.  You can place as many orders as you like in one session using any major credit card.  Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.  An additional processing fee is charged by the vendor for this service.  Order updates are available via mobile text message and will also be emailed to you.  You can also track your order online using your email address and order number.

Request by Mail

Requests sent by mail must include payment in the form of check or money order made payable to the College of William and Mary (please do not send cash in the mail).

Privacy

Official transcripts issued to students will bear the stamp "Official Transcript Issued to Student" and will be placed in a signed, sealed envelope. Please be sure to follow the required instructions of the receiving institution/agency for an official transcript.
