A fee of seven dollars (U.S. $7.00) is charged for each official transcript requested.
You may attach one document to be delivered with your official transcript. The University Registrar (UREG) will review the document and determine if it is appropriate to be sent by the University on behalf of the student. If UREG does not validate the document, it will not be sent with the transcript order. Some examples of a valid document are:
- Admission Application forms (such as Law, Nursing, Medical, Graduate School)
- Scholarship Application forms
Transcripts can be ordered via the Web 24/7 through the National Student Clearinghouse. You can place as many orders as you like in one session using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed. An additional processing fee is charged by the vendor for this service. Order updates are available via mobile text message and will also be emailed to you. You can also track your order online using your email address and order number.
Payment may be made by check, or cash when making the request in person. Such payments should be made directly to the Cashier in the Bursar's Office.
Request by Mail
Requests sent by mail must include payment in the form of check or money order made payable to the College of William and Mary (please do not send cash in the mail). Official transcripts must be requested in writing and the student's signature is required.
