Summer 2014 Registration

Prerequisites will be enforced for undergraduate courses in Banner.  Visiting students taking courses with prerequisites not taken at W&M will need permission of the instructor in order to register.  Email or visit the instructor before you attempt to register, and please be prepared to provide a copy of your transcript to prove eligibility to enroll in the summer course.

Tuition and fees

For summer registration, tuition and fees are due and payable by the due date as established by the Bursar's Office. Students who register for more than one summer session are required to pay for all registered credit hours as billed.

In certain cases, special permission may be required:

  • Contact the instructor in order to add courses designated as requiring permission from the instructor, or to register for courses that have prerequisites, which you have fulfilled at a different college.  In the latter case, you may have to send the professor a copy of your transcript from the other institution.
  • If permission is granted, it will be in the form of a registration override, which may be viewed in the "Check Your Registration Status" section of Banner self-service.

See the Non-Degree-Seeking Student pages for full information and forms.
