Alternate PIN

New undergraduate students use a six-digit alternate PIN to register for courses after their initial (11 credit) registration process.  You will be prompted for this PIN when you access Registration menu options in Banner.  During your Faculty Advising appointment at Orientation, your Faculty Advisor will give you the PIN.  The Offices of the University Registrar and Academic Advising cannot release it to you, so be sure to make a note of it during the Faculty Advising appointment.

Please keep your alternate PIN in a secure place, as you will be required to use it each subsequent time you access the Banner registration system for this semester.

New students entering in the Fall semester will meet with their Faculty Advisor three times:  once in August (during Orientation), once in October (for Spring registration) and once in March (for Fall registration).  New students entering in Spring will have two Faculty Advisor meetings:  one in January (during Orientation) and the second in March (for Fall registration). During these meetings, you will receive a new alternate PIN for use during the upcoming registration period.
