First-year undergraduates (freshmen and transfers) use a six-digit PIN (called an "Alternate PIN") to register for courses, after Registration Period 1 (11 Credits). Your alternate PIN will be used to register for courses in Registration Period 2 and during the add/drop period.
Your faculty premajor advisor will provide you with your alternate PIN during Orientation. Please make note of your PIN during your advising appointment, because the Offices of the University Registrar and Academic Advising are unable to provide PINs to students.
