Official Transcripts

A fee of seven dollars (U.S. $7.00) is charged for each official transcript requested.

Payment may be made by check, or cash when making the request in person. Such payments should be made directly to the Cashier in the Bursar's Office. Requests sent by mail must include payment in the form of check or money order made payable to the College of William and Mary (please do not send cash in the mail). Credit cards are not currently accepted for transcript payment.

Official transcripts must be requested in writing and the student's signature is required. Faxed requests are not accepted for official transcripts. Official Transcript Request Forms are available online and in the Registrar's Office reception area, Office of the University Registrar, Room 108, Blow Memorial Hall.

Official transcripts issued to students will bear the stamp "Official Transcript Issued to Student" and will be placed in a signed, sealed envelope. Please be sure to follow the required instructions of the receiving institution/agency for an official transcript. It is the policy of the Office of the University Registrar not to send partial or incomplete transcripts; thus, transcripts for currently enrolled students will not be processed at the end of a semester until ALL grades have been received and posted to student's records.
