Rowing Medals in Weekend Regatta

In the Head of the Occoquan regatta this past Saturday the Tribe made an admirable end to the fall season. Varsity and novice boats on both the men's and women's teams placed very well! All races had over 20 entries and plenty of competition. WM competed against George Mason, JMU, VCU, Maryland, Loyola, and Mary Washington. Men's V8 placed fourth in their race, earning medals against a field of 26 boats. Men's novice 8+ earned third in their event - definitely the best placing for the men's novice team in recent history! Women's boats faced many varsity programs as well as several club teams, with women's V8 placing 21st in their race and the two women's novice boats placing 8th and 12th - very respectable standings.
