How to do business with the Commonwealth of Virginia - A Supplier's Point of View

This session will provide an overview of the Commonwealth of Virginia purchasing processes, including purchasing policies that affect how buyers us the eVA system to purchase goods and services. Attendees will learn the tools and tricks of using eVA, like creating a product catalog and using eVA FREE reporting tools (who is buying what you sell, at what price, etc.). If you are not already an eVA registered Vendor, learn how to enroll and where to go for assistance. After the eVA Session, a procurement professional from W&M will discuss doing business at the College.
About the Speaker:
Kim Madison joined the eVA Project Team in August 2009 as eVA’s Outreach & Marketing Coordinator. She brings with her more than 15 years of marketing and communication experience in the private sector. As a member of the project team, one of Kim’s primary objectives is to educate businesses on the benefits of eVA and help them navigate Virginia’s purchasing process.
Trainings are open to any supplier interested in learning more about what opportunities the Commonwealth and W&M have to offer their business. The cost of the training is $25 per person - light refreshments will be served. Please register in advance to attend.
