Office of Procurement

Our staff includes Virginia contracting officers trained and certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of General Services, Division of Purchases and Supply, with additional training and certifications from the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) and Institute for Supply Management. We are proud members of the Virginia Association of Governmental Purchasing (VAGP) and the Virginia Association of State Colleges and University Procurement Professionals (VASCUPP).

The mission of the Office of Procurement is to support the educational and research goals of the College of William & Mary and Virginia Institute of Marine Science. This is accomplished by aiding the university community in procuring the goods and services needed, in a timely manner, at the best possible value and within Federal, Commonwealth and university guidelines, as well as act as an effective steward of the university's fixed assets.
