Parking on the west side of campus

Summary

Students, faculty, staff and guests visiting the west side of campus this semester should plan ahead for potential delays locating a parking space.

Update (10/01/09): The Parking Advisory Committee considered and recomended for approval a proposal to realloocate 65 Faculty and Staff  spaces along Level 1 of the deck to a shared scheme with Commuter students. The proposal was approved by The VP for Administration and put in place during the Fall break.

When coming to the west side of campus, specifically Miller Hall, Morton, PBK and/or Jones Hall please give yourself at least 10-15 additional minutes to locate a parking space. Parking Services' lot attendants will be onsite to assist with traffic management. As spaces fill up they will post "Lot Full" signs. Once these signs are posted we discourage circling in a lot, simply proceed to the next parking location suitable for your scheme. Spaces in the deck have been reassigned to help accomodate the demand; however, on high volume days you may have to seek parking in other outlying lots such as the W&M Hall lot. On these days please remember that the Green Line is a time saving way to get back to the west side of campus, it's less than a 5 minute trip.
