Office of Community Engagement and Scholarship

The Office of Community Engagement and Scholarship serves as a resource for faculty for the integration of engaged teaching and research, supports students in their development as active citizens and scholars, and develops partnerships with communities as central missions of the University.

If you are interested in learning more about resources for faculty, community-based research, or the Sharpe Community Scholars Program, visit our Engaged Scholarship section.  If you're interested in local volunteering, Branch Out alternative breaks (regional, national and international), large-scale service days, anti-poverty programs, and ways to connect service and leadership, visit our Community Engagement pages.

Whether you are a student, faculty member, staff member or community member, we are glad to partner with you.
