Need

Through active participation in the field, volunteer members assist the career firefighters of the City of Williamsburg with fire suppression, public fire education, emergency care and transportation of sick and injured victims, and overall safety awareness within the community. Volunteers are needed to participate in emergency medical services, fire suppression, or both fields. Participants may become Commonwealth of Virginia certified emergency medical technicians, emergency medical technician intermediates, paramedics, and state certified firefighters through courses taught throughout the region.
