Description

Avalon is committed to intervening in and reducing the incidence of domestic violence and sexual assault. This will be achieved through shelter, advocacy, and support to victims and survivors, using community education to foster awareness and prevention.

Need

Volunteers are needed to answer our 24-hour help line, help with community outreach and education, serve as a shelter advocate, assist with office duties, provide occasional transportation, assist with child care, act as companions and resource persons to women in the shelter, and help with fundraising efforts.
