The Arc of Greater Williamsburg
Website: {{http://www.thearcgw.org}}Description
The
Arc of Greater Williamsburg has proudly
served adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our
community for over 35 years. Our support services provide educational,
health
and wellness, life skills, cultural, social, and recreational programs.
In addition, we provide much needed respite time for families and
caregivers. We
are a local Arc chapter and our
collective voice provides the opportunity for all of us to make a
difference. The Arc fosters respect and access for
individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their
families, giving them the power to achieve a full and satisfying life. We
welcome your volunteerism, membership, and donations in
support of our growing organization. For
more information call 757-229-3535,
visit thearcgw.org or Facebook .com/thearcgw.
Need
Volunteers are needed to assist during our evening programming
providing one-on-one or small group support. Some programming
is walking distance to the campus. In addition, we welcome volunteers
during the day to provide office support. Our office is
located off McLaws Circle close to Busch Gardens.
