Description

Williamsburg Human Services provides comprehensive human service support for individuals, families, and children as well as special needs populations. Programs include cash assistance, outreach, training and education for city residents. Special emphasis is made in the areas of family preservation, jobs/day care support, and crisis intervention involving adult and child abuse.

Need

Volunteer opportunities include assistance with monthly senior events, individual assistance with seniors (shopping, doctor’s appointments, home visits, etc.), work with 14-18 year old youths in the Youth leadership council, and miscellaneous office/administrative help in the social services office.
