WE build community!
Williamsburg Engagement (WE) is a program sponsored by the OCE to connect W&M students with local nonprofit agencies in weekly community engagement projects. WE groups work with a certain nonprofit for an academic year, focusing on a specific social issue, reflecting on the issue and their experience, and growing together as active citizens. WE facilitates partnerships for strong direct service, creating more sustainable relationships between the college and our community partners. Each WE group consists of two student leaders and a handful of student participants.
