The Office of Community Engagement sponsors several special service days that offer the opportunity for William & Mary students to participate in service as part of a group.
To kick off the year, Students Helping Out Williamsburg (or SHOW Day) brings incoming students together in service. Make a Difference Day in October, and Spring into Action Day in March, offer student organizations (or just groups of friends) the opportunity to sign up for a project together.
Each Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we participate in service projects with nonprofit partners while learning about the legacy of Dr. King through our MLK Social Justice & Service Program.
Each service day is led by a Project Leader, who is trained to facilitate orientation, education and reflection, so volunteers get the most out of their experience.
