Description

The Merrimac Center provides secure custody of children (ages 7-17) who have come in conflict with the law and require confinement for their own protection or for the community's protection. Juvenile Detention provides a wide range of helpful services, which support the juvenile's physical, emotional, and social development.

Need

Volunteers are needed in the areas of: educational tutoring (all subjects), recreation and leisure education, positive role modeling, self esteem building and health care education. Topic discussions, presentation or actual hands-on activities welcomed.
