The 2017-18 Community Engagement Fellowships will be from August 7, 2017 - May 4, 2018.
Three Fellows will be based in the OCE: those focused on Alternative Breaks, Education Programs, and Local Engagement. Fellows based in the Office of Community Engagement will work an average of 7.25 hours per day, for 36.25 hours per week, and will receive two weeks of vacation and three sick days. Pay is commensurate with experience up to $10.66 per hour, and fellows will receive an additional taxable stipend of $775. Fellows may elect to live in an apartment in the Graduate Complex at no cost.

Community-Based Housing Fellowship
A fourth Fellow is placed at Housing Partnerships, a local nonprofit with a mission to make safe, warm, and dry housing a reality for our neighbors in the Historic Triangle area. This fellow will receive a taxable stipend of $15,000, paid incrementally during the course of the fellowship. They will will work an average of 7.25 hours per day, for 36.25 hours per week, and will receive two weeks of vacation and three sick days. The Fellow may elect to live in an apartment in the Graduate Complex at no cost.
