Trip Focus: Sustainable Housing and Community Development in Rural Nicaragua

Location: NicaraguaBridges to Community 2014

Mission: Bridges to Community is a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3) and NGO service learning and community development organization that brings people from different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds together to work, learn and reflect.Participants in this trip will be given the opportunity to build houses with much deserving Nicaraguan families, improving the quality of lives for generations to come. Through the process of living and working within the community, Bridges promotes community and personal transformation, cross-cultural partnerships, sustainable community development, and a commitment to be agents of change in our communities, both locally and globally.
