Background
Ellen graduated from William & Mary in May after moving to Williamsburg from Rochester, NY. As an undergrad, Ellen studied neuroscience and philosophy and has since integrated her interest in the two fields through the study of bioethics. She spent her time outside of class working with Branch Out and other student organizing groups and is overjoyed that she gets to spend the next year continuing her work with these programs and others. In her free time now, she enjoys nurturing house plants, cooking excessively large meals, and hiking around Virginia.

If you’re interested in social justice, alternative breaks, the brain, or eating chocolate covered almonds, you should stop by her office and say hello!
