Michael thinks the Office of Community Engagement is super cool! That is why he threw caution to the wind and joined the team as the office’s Student Assistant. A former Sharpe Scholar, Michael is having a good ol’ fashioned time learning about the administrative side of community engagement. Before working for the OCE, he passed the time interning for a very nice Congressman and getting trapped in existential thought experiments.
When Michael isn’t behind his desk, he is singing in the Schola Cantorum Choir, helping out with the Student Ethical Fashion Organization, and wondering where the candy on his desk comes from. He has a blind bichon fries named Buddy. Michael promises that Buddy is in Northern Virginia with Michael’s family and not living under his dorm bed in a laundry basket, subsisting off scraps from the Caf.
Michael holds the distinct honor of having once screamed “I love you” to an unnamed US Secretary of State and received a warm “Thank you” in return. Bring him treats in room 326A in Blow.
