BioLucas Leblanc is a junior at The College of William & Mary pursuing a major in International Relations and a minor in Economics. He has been involved with AidData since the start of his sophomore year in 2012. Since then, he has worked on a multitude of projects including geocoding Chinese development finance in Africa as well as World Bank projects around the globe. Recently, he worked as a Research Assistant for AidData's summer 2013 team, in which he arbitrated codes for USAID projects in Nepal and Senegal. As a native French speaker, he has also done work with foreign language documents in Africa. He hopes to continue his involvement with AidData and pursue a career where his skills can be put to work improving governance and living standards in transitioning countries.
