Wiebke Wemheuer-Vogelaar received her M.A. in International Relations at the Freie Universität Berlin and is currently enrolled as a PhD student at the Berlin Graduate School for Transnational Studies. For her dissertation Wiebke researches the global spread of International Relations Theories with a particular focus on the discipline’s periphery. For this purpose, she identifies and analyses citation patterns in IR journals from all over the world – a task that made her join forces with the TRIP in 2013. Her research interests include theories of international and transnational relations, global IR scholarship, postcolonialism, scientomertrics, and the sociology and history of science.
