As you know, surveys are an effective tool for measuring and collecting data. The College of William and Mary offers two online survey services, Tribe Responses and Qualtrics, for academic and administrative purposes.
Tribe Responses
Tribe Responses was developed by people at W&M for people at W&M. It's a free web-based software designed to help faculty, students and staff create simple forms and surveys step-by-step. All you need to get started is an internet connection and your WMuserid.
- First, you'll create an account by logging in with your WMuserid and password.

Now you can start designing your form(s). Tribe Responses offers a Help Index that will guide you through this process.

Qualtrics
Qualtrics provides a more flexible and robust platform for designing, distributing, and evaluating survey results. If you think Tribe Responses may not be meeting your needs, then our survey services team will determine if Qualtrics is the right tool for you.
