1. Located in the podium keyboard tray you will find a  NEC remote for use with the NEC LCD projector.

 vt800 labeded remote 

-Press the Green button located in the upper right hand corner to turn ON the Projector. When the projector comes on, press the input button located (directly below the Green Button) until the upper right of the screen displays one of the following.

-Input A - Select Input "A" (Podium Computer).

-Input B - Select Input "B" (Notebook).

-Video - All video Projections VCR, DVD and Aux Video.

-Power Off - Power off the projector by depressing the Green power button twice when finished.

2. Stand directly in Front or Behind the projector when using the remote control. The remote will not work properly if you are positioned to the side of the projector.

3. If you see no lights on the equipment when you open the podium, check the Main Rack Power Switch. It is located on the top right of the Equipment rack.

4. The Internal Computer Should Remain ON At All Times.

5. To Adjust the Sound:

-To adjust All Sound, use the "Master Volume Knob" on the SCM262 Stereo Mixer, located on the right-hand side of the upper shelf.

-The first five knobs are preset for the channels. Do Not Adjust Them.

6. Video Selector Switch:

-To view Aux (optional Video) push button 1.

-To view VCR/DVD Push button 2.

Internal Computer Projection

1. Computer already on.

2. Turn the Projector "On" using the remote.

3. Set projector to "Input A" using the remote.

4. Turn off the projector when finished.

Notebook Computer Projection

NOTE: The Video and Network Cables for your Notebook run along the wall under the chalkboard to the center of the chalkboard.

1. Turn the Projector "On" using the remote.

2. Set projector to "Input B" using the remote.

3. Connect the Notebook to the supplied VGA Connector and Audio cable on the side of the podium. There is a network cable located there for Internet access and power outlets as well.

4. Turn on the Notebook.

5. Turn off the projector and disconnect the Notebook when finished.

VHS and DVD Projection

1. Turn the Projector "On" using the remote.

2. Set projector to "Video" using the remote.

3. On the Video Selector Switch, select VCR/DVD position 2.

4. Using the VCR/DVD remote select the Input you desire "VCR/DVD" on the remote or use the VCR/DVD mode selector switch on the unit.

5. Insert the Video or DVD and it should play, if not press "play" on the unit or the remote control.

6. To adjust sound, use the "Master Volume Knob" on the SCM262 stereo mixer.

7. Turn off the projector when finished.

Optional (Auxiliary) Video Projection

    1. Turn Projector "On" using the remote.

    2. Set projector to "Video" using the remote.

    3. On the Video Selector Switch, select "Aux" position 1.

    4. Plug the provided video and audio cables into the equipment. (Connect to video/audio out).

    5. Ensure that there is power to your auxiliary device by plugging your device's power cable into the power outlet provided.

    6. To adjust sound, use the "Master Volume Knob" on the SCM262 stereo mixer.

    7. When finished disconnect the equipment and turn off the projector.

    USB Connection

    1.  A USB cable is provided in the Aux cables for viewing your USB media.
