About the Monthly Maintenance Window
In an effort to consolidate maintenance outages and downtime, we have established a regular monthly window for systems maintenance. This decision has been reached in consultation with administrators and departments across campus and with careful consideration of the needs of the campus community.
This window will be the third Sunday of every month beginning at 3:30 am and ending at noon. An announcement will be made during the week preceding the window as to which systems will be down during the maintenance window via WM Digest, Student Happenings, and the IT website.
Please note that there are multiple IT systems that require maintenance. Because of the complexity of the systems, the interdependencies between systems, and the time required to perform maintenance, this window will not be sufficient to cover all outages. There will be additional times when IT systems will need to be down.
