The emergence of smart phones and tablets on campus presents a new risk to securing sensitive College data. This type of data must be appropriately encrypted during retrieval, storage, and transmission according to the College's Data Encryption Standard--even on mobile devices. 

Take a look at the College's date encryption standard (link above): It covers all electronic devices--especially mobile internet devices-whether College owned or personally owned. Also remember to secure your mobile devices with a lock code.
