About Mike

Michael Tighe serves as a System Engineer in the High Performance Computing Group. He earned a BS in Computer Science/Mathematics from Davis and Elkins College, and an MS in Computer Science from The College of William and Mary. He provides day to day operations support. His interests and specialties include hardware and software systems, crypto-mathematics, software tools, performance analysis, tuning and optimization. He joined the College in the Summer of 2010. Mike previously worked at the National Security Agency, Convex Computer Corporation, Sun Microsystems and Texas Instruments.
