About Tom
Tom Crockett manages the College's central scientific computing complex, also known as "SciClone." In addition to day-to-day operations, he provides software, application, and user support services for that system. His specialties include computer architecture, high performance computing and networking, system software for parallel and distributed computing, visualization and computer graphics, performance analysis, and parallel I/O. A graduate of William and Mary, Tom spent 20 years at NASA Langley Research Center working in parallel computing and scientific visualization before returning to the College in 1999.
