The hotline was created by an Executive Order of the Governor and is overseen by the Commonwealth's Inspector General OSIG website. Hotline calls are received by the Office of the Inspector General and are strictly confidential.

A toll free telephone number (800.723.1615) is available for anyone to anonymously report suspected fraud, waste, or abuse of Commonwealth resources.
