How much does an ID Cost?
Effective July 1, 2005 the cost for all ID cards will be $20.00.
How can I open a W&M Express account?
If you are a student, faculty, or staff member of The College of William and Mary, you already have an account. All you have to do is make a deposit at any of our six locations.
Is there a minimum deposit amount?
Deposits of any amount are accepted at our
walk up locations via cash or check. There is a mimumum deposit of $20.00 on all deposits using credit card, at both the web deposits and walkup locations.
Can I withdraw money from my W&M Express account?
No. The money on your Express account is automatically rolled over from one semester to the next. Accounts will terminate upon withdrawal or graduation from the College. Written notification or a request form for a refund of the balance remaining over $10.00 must be made within 60 days of this event to the ID Office, Campus Center, Room 169, P.O. Box 8795, Williamsburg, Virginia 23187.
How can I check my balance?
With the exception of the vending display window, which will only show your balance if you have less than $10.00 in your account, your balance is displayed in the cash register display window, pole display,on the bottom of your receipt and online at
myWM.
Am I required to keep a minimum balance?
No. There is no minimum balance required.
Can I get a refund from W&M Express card purchases in cash?
No. Cash refunds are not made for returned merchandise purchased with the Express card. A credit will be made to your account within three business days from the time the merchandise is returned.
How do I sign up for a Meal Plan and what does it have to do with the WM Express?
The Meal Plan is not part of the W&M Express but it does use the same ID Card. If you need more information about the Meal Plan you can go to the Dining Services website or if you want to just sign up you can go to
