W&M Howard Hughes Medical Institute Science Education Grant

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute awarded the College of William and Mary $1.6 million grants in 1998 and 2002, and $1.8 million in 2006 to advance undergraduate education and outreach in biological sciences and other scientific disciplines related to biology (HHMI at W&M). The Office of Strategic Planning & Analysis conducts independent annual reviews of grant initiatives. Results are used to improve programs. Assessment summaries are included in annual reports to the Institute.
