OTC Medicines at the SHC

The following are over the counter (OTC) medicines available for purchase at the front desk of the Student Health Center. You do not need to be seen by one of our medical providers to obtain these medications:

Acetaminophen (pain reliever, fever reducer)

Ibuprofen (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, pain reliever, fever reducer)

Visine A  (antihistamine eye drops for allergies)

Generic Sudafed (decongestant)

Generic Afrin (decongestant nasal spray)

Generic Zyrtec (antihistamine - cetirizine)

Generic Claritin (antihistamine - loratadine)

Generic Claritin-D (antihistamine with decongestant)

Generic Benadryl (antihistamine -diphenhydramine)

Generic Robitussin DM (cough suppressant)

Generic NyQuil (acetaminophen, cough suppressant, antihistamine)

Generic DayQuil (acetaminophen, cough suppressant, decongestant)

Generic Prilosec (decreases gastric acid - omeprazole)

Generic Zantac (decreases gastric acid - ranitidine)

Generic Pepto-Bismol tablets or liquid (for diarrhea, upset stomach)

Generic Imodium (for diarrhea - loperamide)

Hydrocortisone 1% cream (steroid cream - for itching)
