Fees and Charges
You pay a health fee as part of your tuition and fees to access services at the Student Health Center during the fall and spring semesters
The health fee for the summer sessions is optional; you must pay it separately to use the Health Center over the summer. The summer 2009 SHC fee is $15.00 per 7 day period.
There is an office visit charge, ranging from $5.00 to $15.00, which is assessed at the time of your visit. The charge is based on the length of time/complexity of care provided by our providers and/or nurse practitioners.
There is a charge for missed appointments and for late cancellation of appointments. If you are not able to keep your appointment, please call the Health Center as soon as possible (2 hours before general appointment, 24 hours before GYN or Physical Exam and some mental health appointments).
There are additional charges associated with the following services:
- Tests associated with annual GYN exams
- Routine physicals
- Laboratory Tests
- Prescriptions
- Some medical supplies
- Immunizations
- Allergy shots
- Some surgical procedures
- Missed appointments which are not canceled in a timely manner

Charges are subject to change without prior notice.
Payment is expected at the time service is rendered. Payments not made by the end of the month at the Student Health Center must then be made at the Bursar's Office.
Please bring your insurance card with you to your appointment to ensure we have the correct information to pass on in case of outside service (i.e. referral to a specialist, outside lab testing, x-ray, etc.).
