Sorority Life is Learning to Lead

Why did you join a sorority?
When I got to campus I was pretty overwhelmed with all the different activities offered here at William and Mary that Greek life kind of took a back seat for me. It wasn't until I received an open bid from my sorority that I was able to truly appreciate the Greek community on campus. I decided to join the Greek community after realizing what a diverse and dynamic group of people it was comprised of.
What has membership in a sorority taught you about leadership?
Through myexperience in Chi Omega and on the Inter Sorority Council, I have learned valuable skills including leadership development, delegation, and financial responsibility. Both my sorority and the Greek community as a whole have helped me foster these abilities and have served as a support system during my time here at the College.
