Coalition Assessment Project
The College of William & Mary will be participating in the Coalition Assessment Project (CAP) this Fall semester. The CAP is an initiative sponsored by several partner organizations (the North American Interfraternity Conference, National Panhellenic Conference, National Pan-Hellenic Council, National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations, and the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors) and is designed to advance the fraternal movement within college and university campuses across North America. The purpose of the CAP is to assess and communicate the health of the fraternity and sorority communities on campuses.
There are several components to the CAP, one of which is an on-site visit from a team comprised of volunteers and professionals representing the different partner organizations. The on-site visit for the College will take place Wednesday, October 14th - Friday, October 16th. During the on-site visit, the team will meet with a variety of stakeholders on campus who are involved with, and can impact, the fraternity/sorority community at the College. Following the visit in October, the CAP team will prepare a report which will include strengths and limitations of our fraternity/sorority community as well as recommendations for improvement.
Additional information regarding the CAP can be found at: www.nicindy.org/information/assessment_project.
