You are not alone!
Once you arrive on campus for orientation, you will be given the name of your Pre-Major Advisor so you can schedule your first meeting. This faculty member will become your primary contact for academic or campus resource information.
Your Peer Student Advisor
A Peer Advisor is a student leader who works with the Office of Academic Advising to assist you before and during registration. The Peer Advisor is an upper division student at W&M and can offer tips and strategies from an insider's point of view.
Pre-professional advisors can work with you to discuss the requirements related to specific professional tracks. These advisors supplement – but do not replace – the relationship you have with your pre-major advisor. You should email the appropriate professional advisor to learn about information on courses and experiences that can make you a competitive candidate when you apply to a professional school.
