New Students

Spring 2018

Step 1: Registration Period 1
  • Friday, January 12 (3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
  • Register for up to 11 credit hours.
  • Login to Banner Self Service to register for courses.
Step 2:  Meet With Your Faculty Advisor
  • Tuesday, January 16. You'll receive information from your orientation aide about signing up for an appointment with your faculty advisor.
  • Your faculty advisor will provide you with an Alternate PIN. Your PIN is required in order to register during the second registration and the add/drop periods.
  • Note: The Registrar's Office is unable to provide Alternate PINs to students.
Step 3: Registration Period 2
  • Tuesday, January 16 (12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.)
  • Register for up to 16 credit hours.
  • Register for courses in Banner Self Service using the Alternate PIN provided by your faculty advisor.
Step 4: Add/Drop Period
  • Tuesday, January 16 at 3:00 p.m. - Friday, January 26 at 11:59 p.m.
  • Register for up to 18 credit hours.
  • Register for courses in Banner Self Service using the Alternate PIN provided by your faculty advisor.
  • After Friday, January 26 at 11:59 p.m. you will be unable to add or drop courses from your schedule.

Overrides

If you received an override from an instructor, you must add the class before midnight Friday, January 26. You can view overrides posted by instructors for you on the "Check Your Registration Status" page in Banner Self Service. Please note, instructors cannot register you for classes.

Withdrawals

Beginning January 27, you must withdraw from a course in order to remove it from your schedule. A withdrawal will result in a grade of "W" on your academic record for that course. A withdrawal to an underload (fewer than 12 earned hours) is not permitted without an appeal to the Committee on Academic Status.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees are due and payable by the due date as established by the Bursar's Office.
