In my role as the Director of First Year Experience, I have the privilege of working with faculty, staff, and student leaders in the development and implementation of a comprehensive first-year program for both first-time in college and transfer undergraduate students. Prior to returning to my alma mater as a professional staff member, I most recently served as the Director of Residential Life and Student Services at Maine Maritime Academy with responsibilities in residential life, student conduct, new student orientation, and student engagement and involvement. I hold a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University and am completing my Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership and Policy from the University of New Hampshire with a research interest in first-year student transition experiences and resources.

As the FYE Graduate Assistant for New Student Orientation, I work with supervising and mentoring our student leaders and assist in the coordination of the overall orientation program. I am a Master’s student in the Higher Education Administration Program with a focus in International Higher Education. Prior to joining the College, I served as the St Louis Regional Director of Undergraduate Admissions for Truman State University, where I graduated in 2011, and committee member for the Missouri Association of College Admission Counselors.
