Anna calls McLean, Virginia home, but if you asked her in person she would say she lives “right outside of DC.” She’s a rising senior with a Film & Media Studies major who spends her free time telling people about all the screenplays that she wants to write without actually writing them. You can usually find Anna in the basement of Swem, fiddling around and studying in the Media Center while browsing Buzzfeed and taking notes in one of her twenty notebooks she has on her at all times.
Beyond her involvement in First Year Experience, Anna works as a video assistant for the Tribe Football team, volunteers for the Global Film Festival, co-writes and co-produces a podcast, and is a member of a sorority. Anna loves hanging out and talking with friends, and is always looking for more people to laugh at her terrible jokes out of pity. Her mom tells her she’s funny, so she believes it, much to the
chagrin of those who know her. Anna applied to William & Mary on November 1st, 2014, and hasn’t looked back since, which is good since it’s the only school she applied to. She loves this school, as evidenced by her overflowing drawer of Tribe t-shirts, and she’s excited to share her love of William & Mary with new students!
