Tuition & Fees
Student tuition charges are determined by the student's level and domicile. William & Mary reserves the right to make changes to charges for any and all programs at any time, after approval by the Board of Visitors.
Tuition and fees for Fall 2023 are expected to be billed July 11, 2023 and due August 1, 2023. Tuition and fees for Spring 2024 are expected to be billed December 11, 2023 and due January 2, 2024. Students whose payments are received after the due date may be assessed a late payment fee of up to 10% of the outstanding balance.

The University reserves the right to provide some or all instruction and related academic activities through alternative methods of delivery, including remote delivery. It also reserves the right to change the method of delivery before or during an academic term in the event of a health or safety emergency or other circumstance when it determines that such change is necessary or in the best interests of the campus community. Tuition and mandatory fees will not be reduced or refunded if the University changes the delivery method for any or all of an academic session. If significant, long-term changes in instructional delivery are made, potential reductions in fees for auxiliary services, including housing and dining services, will depend on the university’s need and ability to continue to operate, maintain and provide access to those services and the timing of events triggering the changes.
