Could not reserve record (2 tries). Keep trying?

This error ususally happens when trying to save a change to a Work Order.  It indicates that the record is in a locked status, usually the the very user trying to make the change.

These steps may resolve the problem:

  1. Refresh the form using the "Clear"  icon (looks like a pencil erasing on a piece of paper).
  2. Re-query the desired record.
  3. Save
  4. Change the status

If these steps do not reslove the problem you can try to wait until the next day and try to change the record again, or, contact the [[borawl, Systems Administrator]], ext. 17835.  The Systems Administrator will contact the Database Administrator and attempt to unlock the record for you.
