Vicki Clarke joined the College of William and Mary (W&M) in May, 2003 as the Operations Manager for the Technology and Business Center. As the Operations Manager, she conducted research for clients of the Center and provided assistance to the Director and Assistant Directors. In January 2005 she became the Office Manager for Economic Development.
The Economic Development office facilitates public-private-university partnerships that strengthen the university and contribute to local, regional, and state economic development. Mrs. Clarke conducts research on faculty interests, grant availability, and manages the Discovery 2 office.
Prior to joining the College of William and Mary, Mrs. Clarke taught Business Law and Computer Applications at Arlington High School in Arlington, Texas. She served as the Business Department Chairman, Chairman of the Future Business Leaders of America and served on the Texas state schoolbook selection committee. She was named a Who's Who in Secondary Education for Business.
Mrs. Clarke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Masters of Education degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas. She and her husband, Tom, have a daughter, Sherri, and three grandchildren (Christian, Halley, and Dylan).
