Transfer Student Services

Everyone's path to William & Mary is different and for some students, it takes a little bit longer to get here. We're glad you've finally arrived!

Because you've made the transition to undergraduate life before, you're probably familiar with a lot of what we do in the Dean of Students office--our Orientation program, in particular. But even though you already know what it's like to be a college student, you don't know what it's like to be a William & Mary student. It's our challenge, then, to create and sustain the same group solidarity between you and your fellow transfers that naturally exists in each freshman class, simply by virtue of their inexperience.

Ben Boone is here to assist you as you make the transition to college life again. If you have questions or concerns, contact him by [[biboon, email]] or set up an meeting in person. Dean Boone has open office hours each semester, specifically set aside for transfer students like you! So don't hesitate to stop by, check-in, eat lunch or talk with him about how you are adjusting to William & Mary.
