William & Mary students are some of the brightest, most talented, most capable college students in America. To ensure that each and every student has the most successful college experience imaginable, the administration, faculty and staff provide some essential student services.
The Vice President for Student Affairs and her staff oversee the departments responsible for student counseling, student diversity programs, services for disabled and transfer students, student rights and responsibilities, organizations and activities, student government, the student conduct system, the Sadler Center and Campus Center, student residences, student health and counseling needs.
The Office of the Dean of Students is dedicated to helping every student accomplish their personal and academic goals. Especially in the case of disability, health concerns, or conduct, the DOSO is an important resource for students as they move toward graduation.
Books & Technology
Get all of your Tribe Pride here! The W&M Bookstore is a great place to buy textbooks, great deals for students on merchandise with a valid student ID, and a very cozy café upstairs. Located just a short way down Duke of Gloucester Street, it is a great resource for students.
Mac? PC? Both? The Tribe Computer store provides the one stop shop for Mac lovers as well as a selection of PC computers available for students.
Our campus is connected. I.T. aids in all the technological needs for students and falculty.
Swem Library offers a wealth of information resources and services - online research materials, interlibrary loan requests, reserve materials and ask a librarian (just to name a few).
Jobs & Career Prep
Choosing one's career path can be daunting for students. The Career Center seeks to prepare students for success after college through workshops, events, and online services.
The College offers many opportunities to work on campus for those with and without Federal-Work Study.

An on-campus police department makes our students feel safe. With a fast response time and great force, they will always be available.
