Branch Out Alternative Break Citizenship Schools
Allows six student coordinators for Branch Out to be trained to run an Alternative Break program through the Alternative Breaks Citizenship Schools with Break Away.
Branch Out Site Leader Training
Provides training for 34 site leaders and six student coordinators for alternative break trips. The training completes a 1-credit course.
Griffin School Partnerships Training
Supports a reorganized school-based education program to provide high-quality training and education for 350+ students involved in tutoring and mentoring in local schools.
Culturally Based Fraternal Organization (CBFO) Retreat Funding
Fraternity/Sorority Life was able to bring an outside facilitator to work with our National Pan-Hellenic Council chapters last academic year. This was hugely successful. This year’s plan is to expand the retreat to include all of our CBFOs and provide additional support to our new Multicultural Greek Council.
Harm Reduction Programming
Provides programming to fraternity/sorority community members on sexual assault prevention, alcohol harm reduction, and hazing prevention.
Collegiate-Link
Software platform designed to help manage student organizations and involvement. It will help not only to “encourage and validate student engagement” but will also help “track the impact of involvement on student success.”
Graduate Assistant for Student Assembly
This new graduate assistantship position helps to advise, oversee, and implement the events and initiatives sponsored by the Student Assembly.
President's Council Retreat
A 1-day retreat for presidents of cultural organizations who are advised by the Center for Student Diversity. The retreat will focus on organizational goal setting, leadership development skills/membership engagement, and fostering collaboration among student organizations. Monthly President’s Council meetings through the year will helpreinforce these key leadership skills.
