What is Gardasil?

Gardasil is a vaccine (injection) for the prevention of cervical cancer caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV). The vaccine is 3 injections over 6 months, with one injection every 2 months.

Who can get Gardasil?

Females between the ages of 9 and 26.

How do I get Gardasil?

Gardasil is available at the Student Health Center at a cost of $145 per injection. Students do not need to make an appointment with a physician in order to receive the vaccine. However, the Health Center is happy to take appointments to discuss the vaccine. Students can consult their individual insurance company to see if they will cover Gardasil.
