Graduate Assistant, Student Accessibility Services

Email: [[ccmullins01]]

I was born and raised in Greenville, NC, where I attended East Carolina University and completed a bachelor’s degree in English. During college, I served as a University Writing Center tutor for three years, and researched accessibility practices for the center. I also worked closely with the Volunteer Service Learning Center as president of our Habitat for Humanity chapter, and completed a summer programming internship with the Alumni Association. As an undergraduate, I already had an idea that I wanted to begin a career in higher education.

After graduation, I worked for a year in college admissions, and later worked as an Academic Support Mentor for Student-Athletes at Christopher Newport University. In 2017, I completed a Master’s degree in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership from William & Mary. During my time as a graduate student, I had the pleasure of serving as a Graduate Assistant for Student Accessibility Services in the Dean of Students Office, and completed an internship with the Office of First Year Experience. I am thrilled to return to the Dean of Students Office as Coordinator of Student Accessibility Services! I enjoy serving our students as an advocate and resource, being an active member of the William & Mary community, and learning something new every day.

I currently live in Newport News with my husband Greg, and our dog-child, Hamlin.
